Plimmerton has always been about the sea. From its roots as a seaside escape for Wellingtonians in the late 19th century, to the thriving coastal community it is today, the ocean has shaped life here. And at the heart of this story stands the Plimmerton Boating Club, which recently marked an incredible milestone — 100 years on the waves in Plimmerton.
We’ll be the first to admit it — we’re not career restaurateurs. But what we are is fast learners, good listeners, and passionate about creating a place where people feel at home. So, who are we? Let’s take a moment to introduce the amazing team behind The Jetty.
Some call it serendipity. Others, providence. Whatever it was that brought us here, we know one thing for sure: we’re grateful.
We’re beyond excited (and mildly terrified) to announce the launch of our brand new restaurant/café/bar — The Jetty at Plimmerton Boat Club.
