We’re beyond excited (and mildly terrified) to announce the launch of our brand new restaurant/café/bar — The Jetty at Plimmerton Boat Club.

After some weeks of setting things up we’ve got sea spray in our hair, coffee in our veins, and big dreams on our menu. Whether you’re after a killer flat white, a cheeky wine by the water, or a plate of something you didn’t have to cook yourself — we’re here for it. And for you.

The Jetty is our love letter to the coast not so far from our home, with a side of crispy fries and a splash of gin. It’s where we hope brunch will meet sunset drinks, where locals catch up and out-of-towners accidentally turn into regulars.

A Little Heads Up (And a Big Thank You)

Now, before you charge down to the waterfront with forks in hand and very high expectations, we have a small request: Please be gentle with us.

We’re still finding our feet, learning the ropes, and possibly putting the salt where the sugar should go. The coffee machine may still occasionally hiss at us like a wild animal. Someone may forget which side the cutlery goes on. And it’s entirely possible that our playlist includes a rogue 90s boy band banger (but we’ll work tirelessly to ensure it doesn’t).

We promise however — every dish, every drink, every awkward moment — is served with genuine love, big effort, and the goal of becoming your new favourite spot.

Why did we name it The Jetty?

A jetty is a place you arrive, a place you return to. A space to pause, refuel, and take in the view. That’s exactly what we want to create — a home base on the shore. Casual, unpretentious, a little bit cheeky, and full of heart.
