It was after a chance conversation from behind the mirrors with our hairdresser Mitch, that Ange (Get Fixed Bicycle Cafe owner) met Yolanda (Plimmerton Boat Club member) and the opportunity to possibly open something new at the Boat Club was born.
After many discussions with Commodore, David we decided this was too great an opportunity to pass up and signed an agreement to partner with the boat club and bring some new life and more of the community in to the beautiful space.
This isn’t our first rodeo…we also own Get Fixed Bicycle Café which began in a shipping container on Porirua’s waterfront. And The Jetty? Well, it’s something special. It’s our love letter to Plimmerton — a place to eat, drink, connect and take a breather.
Whether you’re here for a morning coffee, a cold drink with mates, or a small plate that turns into five, we want The Jetty to feel like a home away from home. Warm, a little bit cheeky, and always welcoming.
